Why...

I grew up playing basketball in small town Kansas.  I was the starting point guard all four years of high school and college.  After graduating, I became the assistant coach at Hastings College in Nebraska where we won back to back NAIA National Championships.  In addition to my four years of college coaching experience, I have coached at the middle and high school levels.

I specialize in skill development, and believe there is currently a skills gap in youth basketball.  Kids are not receiving adequate instruction, whether at the recreational or competitive level.  I aim to fill that gap.

The life lessons I learned playing basketball have benefited me greatly.  I understand the self-worth, grit, and confidence that can be gained through mastering skills.  I am passionate about helping young people become better basketball players and stronger people.
